Private, in daily use
Job Fit Analyzer
My own job search, run as an AI pipeline.
A private tool that finds roles, scores how well I fit them, writes a tailored resume and cover letter for each, and tracks every application's replies from my inbox. It is built to stay honest: it refuses to invent metrics or claim experience I don't have.
The problem
A serious job search means reading hundreds of postings, tailoring every application, and tracking replies across boards and inboxes. Doing that well by hand takes a full-time job's worth of hours, and generic AI tools happily make things up.
What I built
- Three-stage analyzer: a fit verdict and score, an ATS keyword breakdown split into 'true, add these' and 'do not fake', then a fully tailored resume exported as PDF.
- A discovery pipeline that searches several job boards, filters by pay floor and location, ranks by relevance, and scores candidates in batches.
- Per-role application kits (resume and cover letter) with an AI screening pass that checks both posting match and whether the writing reads as machine-generated.
- Gmail sync that classifies replies and moves each application through a kanban pipeline, with an attention rail for anything waiting on me.
- An analytics dashboard with response rates computed on matured applications only, so new applications don't skew the numbers.
- Hard honesty rules in the prompt layer, enforced across every generation path.
